Havent put out a garden since we moved....however....we lived about 1.5 miles from where we are now n we are 400 ft higher in elevation. I quit planting til the 1st week of june because of frost decimating our maters...
Made 60 here briefly today with a damp east wind. I could care less about the temps, but for crying out loud, the damp & dreary is killing me. It really needs to dry out. What I hope is the last load for the season went in the boiler this morning. Supposed to be 70's & on & off rain for the next seven days. Put some Ash & Elm in the boiler, then I'll let it burn down & shutdown.
A few years back we hit a record with 33 days over 90*, crazy hot for us. That year I believe, the next winter had record snowfall. Weather happens.
Could light the stove right now in a heart beat. Would get myself in a little bit trouble in the morning though. Myself toasty but she likes it cool.
LP tonight as boiler gets house to warm above 40f It's kinda like to much .. it will warm up some day lol.. Sent from my LGL84VL using Tapatalk
It's kinda like...… it would take three 33's to make one 99? Warmer this morning, but wet from rain once again. 40 right now... outside!
More rain. It is supposed to warm up but we need sunshine to help that. btw, they did have 2 days of 80 predicted but they were cancelled.
didn't fire stove this morning -supposed to get to 75 by 6pm - with more rain- more warm temps to follow which means the blood suckers will hatch out.
It hit 80 where I was working today 60 miles east - came home to 64. It's a nice 64, sunny and breezy. going to have to fire the stove tonight though, inside temp matches the outside temp... Mama got chilly after airing out the house all day.. Loaded a little white pine to run overnight, as tomorrow is forecast for similar temps but cloudy. Been about a week since we lit up, so no complaints here.
More rain last night. Sunny now. Windy too, which is a blessing for the farmers. Not supposed to rain again until tomorrow night.
