    thats right Joe. I had the shorter Fiskars, (the X25) for a few years but lost it. Someone had given me an X27 for Xmas, but i had never used it til i lost the other. When the X27 broke i was using my Collins axe and liked it more. Ive been switching back and forth and my brain was thinking Collins when i was holding the Fiskars. Ive found myself "choking up" on the X27 as well. Maybe an X25 is in my near future jo191145

    buZZsaw BRAD maybe you could find a pair of inexpensive steel toed boots to use exclusively for wood processing. You might then get used to them and wear them daily. Just a thought.
