Saw this today in front of the Louvre. I don't get to see a double rainbow very often. Especially full side to side. I think this is the second time I have ever seen one. I also have never caught any rainbow with the pot of gold in front of a building. (lower right) I couldn't open my camera wider to catch all of it. I'm glad I skipped the Mona Lisa to see it.
You've got some great photography skills! Had a double rainbow here this winter while it was SNOWING. I was out snow blowing the drive and the sun poked out (rare in winter...and really rare during a storm) and BOOM 2 bright rainbows! I took some photos because it was so amazing, but they didn't come out.
That really is a great photo. But the double rainbow........ OMG!!! It's almost a triple rainbow!! LOL... If these posts make no sense? Then search double rainbow on YouTube.. Funny stuff.
I credit luck for that photo. I was at the right place at the right time. About the only skill that I had was to know that I had to step in front of all the people snapping pictures with their cellphones. I knew that I needed a clear foreground.
