    I also remember that happening with me. I was already starting to take care of the stove and what are they talking about? Coming down a chimney? How would they fit both body and bag of goodies in that small space. Then there was the flue damper; how to get past that, into a hot stove then open the firebox door from the inside. Yes, I was a strange kid; maybe a bit old for my age or something like that.

    I can't tell you all how beautiful it is today with the green-up and flowering crabs opening, along with some lilac flowers starting on a few bushes in sunny places. But folks here know and are experiencing the same thing, or will be soon. We are looking at rain and cooler temps starting Saturday through much of next week. Hopefully things clear back out for Memorial Day weekend.

    Yeah my parents never led us to believe in tooth fairy, santa claus, easter bunny, any of that...they never flat out said its not real, just didn't perpetuate any of it...and I'm like Dennis...I wasn't too old before I figured out these things don't make sense anyways.
