Agree only had it a few weeks and it helps with a lot of work. There a big difference in the set-ups on lawn tractors. Just for the bucket until alone 45 years old setting out side for 15 years seems to bring a couple grand. One know to lift well it starts to get a little crazy. This is the first one I have seen for sale in over 8 months and bought it right. The tractor its self can bring good money to. The hydro trans unit will smoke the ags tires on pavement. To build one tie into the frame and 4 cyclers would add up quick.
and holy crap does it get your attention when they don't...one of mine blew while moving trusses. Luckily, they were 34' wide so rolling wasn't an issue
One you may have never heard of. Back in the late 70's Struck (mini dozer company) offered a small tractor in a kit and that's what I have, the frame is built like a tank as you could get a loader and back hoe for it, the original motor is long gone but the Briggs works well. It needs a paint job but if interested I could post a picture if I can figure out how to put pictures on this computer.
I have ben thinking of starting a "post your tractor" thread that would be good for it Old spark. If you email me the pic I will post it for you. PM me if u want an I will give you my email.
That is not my tractor but the same thing more or less, first time I have ever found a picture on the internet.
I think there 50-60 yards of dirt there. We got a good rain last night and calling for rain all week just hoping the seed don't wash out.
I'd get some slope mat on that for sure. Too much work to see it wash away. This time of year you can get 1" of rain in 10 minutes with no warning.
Nice work! I 2nd the erosion mat idea...if the seed doesn't work out that is! Or do you mean the lawn is seeded? The one backstop I built, we just let weeds grow on the outside. The lead at 1000ft /second+ keeps it down in the target area. When is the shooting party?
Did last night there a good puddle in the front where it slopes down. Will be re-seeding that for sure. The back side has some sod roll out on it.
