Thanks daffonce but since I took Dan's advice and sanded the both stoves hoppers (over-spray) down to the bare metal then applied car wax I have had no bridging with the exception of T&D wood pellets and a little bit but very minor Matra's. I don't know if it was because it was the last of them but they were not sticky at all and did not really have a pine scent to them, well nothing like Matra's anyhow. Burned excellent and had minimal ash I really like them alot.

Burned the last of my Doug Fir , Logik-E softies and T&D softies. No stove the last couple of days but will be cleaning them today for next tonight and next week. Will be Matra's in the P68 and Lacrete in the P43 with about 20 bags of Northern Max to finish the season.

So just an update on the several different pellet brands I’ve tried in the past 6 weeks as this is my first pellet stove insert a Hartman Accentra 52i-Tc. These are my top five ranked brands in the central CT area.

#1 Okanagan Douglas Fir Pellets ( Best overall pellet from the amazing heat output and hardly any ash but most expensive $7.50 a 40lb bag)

    #2 VT Wood Pellets

    #3 LaCreate Pellets

#5 Lowe’s- Greene Team Platinum Pellets

#6 Hammer Hot Ones - left hard clumps of ash/clunker deposits, but not bad.

If I can get a good deal on a ton or two of the Doug Fir’s in the next few months for this upcoming winter I think that will be my first choice!!!

I could not be happier with this pellet insert and the joy of burning pellets. The heat output is just amazing and the look and feel of wood heat versus baseboard heat is just so much nicer. Best of all the entire family does not complain anymore how cold it is in the house!!

Both stoves are now munching on the last of the TSC MWPs. Only have a couple of bags left and then they will go to the old Oakie Golds that I got a couple of years ago.

Those are some oldies I take it?

Last of the TSC MWPs (white bags) are in my hoppers. Then on to another, older part of my stash.

Yes, bought those in 2014 which I think was the year before TSC switched to the white / blue bags they use now.

Apparently I didn't pull enough bags (10) of TSC MWP's out of the stack before I brought home the CL Liggy Golds. So, now I am burning said LG's.
