Just sitting down to have some dinner and I thought I should share this. As we waited for a table I tried to figure out why all over the place the walls are covered in dollar bills. Well this is why. Perdy cool thing to do. 15571859755821388260934.jpg

That is great that they help out.

My son's karate dojo raises money for the American Cancer Society relay. Over the next few months they can donate a dollar at every class and not wear their gi top, but a school t-shirt.

Just before Thanksgiving, they raise more money and pack and deliver about 525 turkey dinners for folks in the local community. Local businesses and individuals help with donations. It is well organized and amazing to bring it all together. This will be our third year on both events.

Screwloose, I'd like to hear more of your visit to Holland. How were the tulips?

Dennis, Elizabeth here, the tulips were GORGEOUS! Holland was an adventure for us that nearly did us in....the first night I slipped in the shower and smacked my forehead, ending up with a big lump and bruise smack dab in the middle of my head, and Keith fell out of the bed not only on the 1st night, but the 2nd as well. We were obviously safer in the middle of nowhere with 70 complete strangers with dozens of chainsaws

Money tacked to the wall wouldn't work around here.
It would be gone in a flash to one of the many who feel they were entitled to it, just because.
