I think he posts on this thread. I know who your talking about just can't think of the name? Maybe it's the weather thread he posts on? I had to click Brandon's profile when he was talking about Florida to make sure it wasn't who were thinking of.

Pallet Pete Good for you on the neighbor (idiot) with the so called "therapy" dog. I'll bet you gave him a lot to think about. Having a dog like that is a liability and boils down to only a matter of time.

There is a barbershop that has a so called therapy dog that no one can approach, pet, look at, etc. The owner is always excusing the behavior of his dog and keeps saying he is trying to socialize the animal. (After listening to him a couple of times, I told him) "It's not working. You're running a business here and people will expect the dog to be friendly and accept petting. I hope nothing will happen.

Unreal weather this week. Clear, warm, no dew in the morning. Everything is drying out fast. campinspecter got sheets, duvet and comforters dry on the line yesterday. There doesn't seem to be an end in sight to this weather pattern. My lilac is in full bloom and the peonies are budding up fast.

Well, campinspecter still has the cough going but I am back to work. It seems like a long day though. Turns out that it was brought to town by our School reunion or the soccer teams that weekend. Spread quickly. I hope that our English cousins arriving next week don't catch it.

I believe triplef is the other Florida member. He had a post or two in the axe threads.

That sounds right. He was talking about going out on the boat fishing when even here in SC it was like 40f. That's how I first got curious, I assumed FL then clicked his profile and saw he was down there.

Think he was fishing lake Kissimmee?

The 5 day rain has set in. I did manage to get the peas in the ground before it started, They should have been in the ground weeks ago but the garden has been to wet to work. The garden really needed another 2 days of drying, but manage to get a small section worked for the peas. It would have been nice to get the beans in the ground, but that section was just to wet to till.
Weed whacked the portion of the property that could be seen from the road. My back gave out before I could get the rest. Then the rains came will I was resting. I am going to research a recipe to make something out of the on sale strawberries I bought. Not quite sure of what to make but will find something.

I will look for a cake recipe. I was going to make a strawberry jello desert with a pretzel crust. No pretzels in the cupboard.

One with larger hunks in it are the best. Slices on the top for presentation as well as taste are a must for me.

Sad day indeed. It seems to be happening more and more to seniors as of late. Must be overwhelmed with life.

Wow. No dew at night here means it is going to rain.

Lilacs got a ways to go here. They just got leaves. There is a lilac festival in Mackinaw Island every year. This year is is from June 6-14. I remember the year my son went with the school band to march in the parade. That year the lilacs finally bloomed on July 4. Yes, they were a bit late that year but not uncommon.

They are for archery and would work great at short distances. I've talked to a few people who have used them with mixed results.

That's them:) WWW put them on for practice sometimes but also when I was shooting too, those darn broadheads are just SOOOO sharp. I am aware I mix up words, sorry, guess I figured rubber gun ammo was called blunts too. Also Beetle-Kill , risky now with the laws and if a warden found some under the skin but WWW mentioned rock salt instead of rubber buckshot.
