I'm sorry tree killer , I happen to see some news today on teen suicide. Heartbreaking, but also so hard for those left behind, double whammy.

On another note, school shootings should not happen. I support gun ownership. I do not support people turning their heads when there are suspicions. Not blaming them but wish someone would have spoke up.

    I hear ya Chvymn99 .
Craziness at work here, still... I keep saying it's going to calm down, but it's one thing after another, snowball effect. It's pretty tough to rebound from that when we're down another person as the boss is on vacation.

Has anyone ever coated the inside of a metal utility yard trailer with truck bed liner or something similar? It was mentioned the other day about tossing splits in a trailer and thought it would help with durability.

Sorta. We dropped off a Kawasaki mule at a bedliner place. They did it “when they could”. When they had a batch mixed for a large bed truck they sprayed it. Saved a boatload of money. It was just product they were gonna throw away. Stuff sets up and ruins fast.

I did my neighbors Gator back when I was shooting spray-in liners...he really liked it.
If you are talking about using DIY liner that you buy in the store..I wouldn't bother, unless you want to paint the bed anyways, and just use "bed liner" instead of paint...that's about all the DIY stuff is, thick paint.
The professionally sprayed-on liner is pretty thick...1/8" to 1/4" thick...adds some strength for sure.

Does that make the offending bear reconsider coming back?

    I don't know, I've never asked them.
This one is smart. It knows how to empty the bird feeders without tearing them out of the tree. It did the same thing last week but I caught it tonight.
edit- This one just came back. I shined a light out the window and there it was again. Hopped a 3 rail fence and took off. Came back 5 minutes later.
It really wants that spilled bird seed. I can't blame it, it's snowing and nothing is bloomed here yet so you know it's hungry. But it's also 18' from my back door, and if I let the dawgs out to do their thing before bed, there's gonna be a fight. If I kill it, I get in big trouble, no SSS in this scenario.

    :picard:
I assisted a necropsy on a doe in Boulder, turned out it died from a pellet from a grandma's pea shooter went between her ribs in an odd spot. :picard:The elderly lady protecting her back yard foliage was charged :hair: Ridiculous, and this was in the late 80's, we all know how bonkers they are now. Idk, blunt sounds like a blunt is a great option.

"blunt"..... so I should get the bear stoned? Seems like that could make matters worse.

Clearing out of the house is the order of the day. We should have the truck pretty much filled by this afternoon, and be at the new place by tomorrow.

I'll finish my second cup of coffee and then get going. We have just over 24 hours to get everything done.

Congratulations! I'm sure it will be a huge relief to be done with the old place, and finally into the new one. Let the new chapter in your life begin!
