Long time , no post ! What i have been up to?
Getting my new stack with fire wood in order.
Testing my new grandberg sawmill with a husqy 365.

Thanks for posting, Duvekot. always love your pics! Looks like you have been busy up there. Do the boards have a purpose yet?

 

No use for the boards yet, i just use these to see how it works and play with the mill.

 

For one board it takes about 15 min , what the most work was the setting with the stairs for my first cut, got some new ideas, so this week i go welding on the stairs, so i can get is leveled more easily

 

How did you get that log in place? Did you move it with your ATV while there was still snow on the ground?

 

I got the log in to place like the old egptians, just a lot of blocks , rope, sticks and a little 2 ton carjack

 

Yup. The pyramids would have never been built if not for their two ton car jacks!!! Good work and thanks for sharing!!
