Moved four ton of my stash for next year into the shed. Time for some refreshments. Any suggestions...

Start the new job tomorrow. Got all my tools home yesterday, had to use the flatbed to get big tool box home. Moved stiff around in the boxes to keep weight low to avoid tipping issues so I should go out and do some work in the garage today. Son was gonna help yesterday but he got called out at work and left me and another bud to do the work. I figured he could help me tuck the box and carts away in the garage before the rain started today since some of the stuff that will have to be moved around is his ( will be easier too move a few things outside during rearrange, like my bike and El camino which is not happening in the rain ) Looks like I will be working an overnight shift for the first few months at new job that is a firemen shift, which is OK, it will give me time to get some things done around here during the day. Also my bro and his wife will be here from Idaho in June for a week so I will be able to do some things with them.
Spent the morning yesterday at the Rhinebeck car show and swap meet. It was a mess with all the water and I know today will be real bad up there. So many cars in the parking lots where stuck in the mud yesterday and today all the ruts and mudholes will be full of water. Saw a few nice cars and tons of parts but nothing followed me home.
Should clean the Quadrafire today but won't do the spring clean yet as I usually have son run brush down chimney while I have vacuum on clean out port behind stove and rain will not allow that. Or our motorcycle ride we wanted to make today.

Was that at the rhinebeck fairgrounds? They have a great antique display for farm machinery/ rural life. We go there yearly for the sheep and wool festival.

A flatbed for your tools? Sounds like that’s a tax deduction to me. Good Luck with the new job, I used to love the night shift, not any more. We left to pick up the new honey bee nuc’s at 4AM this morning. When we got home I needed a four hour nap before I could function.

We were but a few miles down the road at my Grand babies birthday. She is our only hope, she is the last of the Jedi. May the Fourth be with you!

 

I got dehydrated on a Friday evening and spent a Saturday morning plugged into a drip and filling urinals not a fun time at all no A or B but I had a load of C.

That was a while ago.

 

Ya,I am catching up,went and bought that P68, then delivered it to sisters,then stayed up there to visit for a bit,and playing catch up,got rain and a bit of snow today.Stay well.
