Just lit the stove, low to mid 40’s and raining, i cant believe im burnin right now. Must be all that time i just spent in the rest-home.  I started stacking some wood and woke up the next am like i got beat up. Lost it fast and gettin it back id slow. Those of you who are reading this that dont know, im just getting over a 50 day hospital/ rehab stay for a bacterial blood infection that made its way into my spine bones. Yup it really really sucked and was painful. Made the mistake of going back to work four days after getting home. I worked for 3.5 days and needed to go back out for two weeks. Two week training consisted of long walks first week and the second week was my wifes finish the basement apartment for our daughter training program. I did it and now im aloud to play outside but thats a whole other program :axe::coldfire:

X 2 for sure. Slow steady recovery is usually best.

I've had a fire going every day.

TV news just said it was 89 in Boston, this date last year.

Glad you are getting better! By all means, build a fire and keep warm! Take it very slow after an extended stay like that!

Dang dude, that sounds like a rough ride! Hope things improve for you. On my my way home from work I noticed many chimneys going, I just lit the stove up as well.

I’m not far away, I’m happy to help or just meet a fellow hoarder some time..

Our bodies don't get "fixed" like a car in the shop. Ease into it, take lots of rests, and knock off working WAY before you used to. You'll get it back, you're ahead on wood after burning those cutoffs for a lot of the cold weather, right?

Glad to hear you're on the right side of it! Heed the advice though - slow and steady is the way to get back to fighting shape.
