Dropped this maple today. Wood isn't for me, this is one I am getting paid to drop and cut up. Had me nervous though because it was rotten in the middle and leaning hard towards a shed. But it landed good and didn't have any issues. First time using the 32" bar, and used very bit of it.

The first pic was a little deceiving to me, didn't look as big as I thought. The pic with the saw on the stump was impressive. Quite a rotted center too. Any crawling critters come out to say hi?

Nothing came out but that was crossing my mind when I felt that rotten spot in the middle.
I will be bucking it up but have not done so yet. This is the same place that I trimmed those trees earlier in the week and I went and cleaned up the rest of the brush from that first. And I didnt get tto start until about 4:30 so I ran out of time. But I feel much better having that one on the ground.

Glad it dropped where you wanted it too. It looked like it definitely needed to be on the ground.

Nice, used the 32" on your 460 Swags? Are you running the stock oiler or the high volume one?

Went back out and finished up the maple today and dropped a dead cherry. Felt good to get it done.
