My favorite La Palinas are the Kill Bill and El Diario. I think they stopped making the original Kill Bill which sucks. I couldn’t get into their maduros.

Sure looks to be dried out. I keep mine in a coolidor and when I take 'em out to smoke them later that day, I'll put them is a zip lock bag with a boveda humi-pak to help maintain them. They can dry out in a hurry inside a vehicle with the heater on; not to mention the solar gain in a vehicle from the sunshine.

I have had the herrera esteli cigars (part of a sampler pack I got from who knows where?) and it seems I may have tried the liga privada also.

    :handshake:

    Interesting ash tray!

Mine rest nicely in a coolerdore as well. I haven’t been a fan of the DE offerings lately other that the Willy Herrera which is a solid stick. Top 5 of all time.

My Father flor de las antillas I,m sure I've posted this already, but a cigar this good deserves an encore. Had about 1/3 of a toro earlier this week and then re-lit it yesterday for another 1/2 inch. It was the best re-light I have ever experienced! Most re-lights have that ash taste lingering for the rest of the cigar. I have even tried cutting the cigar before a re-light but always get that ash taste. This one, I just knocked off whatever loose ashes were still there and re-lit it. Very good!
I get them from a store for under $6 for the toro.

Had a la palina Maduro on Tue for my drive. As soon as I got to the 1/2way point, it went south and I couldn't take it any longer. But, the first half was just great!

I had a RP Maduro edge this afternoon. Good, but too strong for me; glad I only ordered a 5-er. Maybe it'll be better next year!

I had one last summer and enjoyed it but this one was turned up a notch in strength/nicotine. When I got to the last 1/3, it was time to stop or regret it.

The first 1/2 was great but after that, it just kicked in!
