Got the road cleared out. The 680 was running like crap until I got it dialed in. I’ve noticed it is pretty sensitive to temperature and runs better in cooler weather. The 488 runs well. A couple of good Maple logs in the mix. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nice view! I don’t know the 680 at all, or the brand for that matter. Some Huskys have a cold weather shudder in a bulkhead between the jug and the carb. Any thing like that on that machine that might make it temperature sensitive?

About 1/2 mile down the hill. My road access is through private property but I can get my quad up my trail. I try to keep my use of the road to a minimum so I can stay on the good side of the owners. Will use the road with pickup and trailer to haul out later in the Summer as I have plenty already split and stacked at home to fill the wood shed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Fortunately the wind was blowing the other way when the main eruption occurred. It was amazing to see the Columbia River completely clogged with mud and debris. We got ash from a follow up eruption later and it made quite a mess. I found it on trees for years later. Would make the chain on the saw spark once in a while and would dull the chain. iv been out today and cut up the last of the wood i had in the field.now when the barley is cut i can go to the pond it will be dryed up buy then and get some more out for next years burning.
Backwoods Savage beat me to it. I wouldn't have guessed St. Helens at first. Can't recall seeing it from your angle but have had a lot of close up views of the crater from the north! That is a neat operation you have going there! Hardly like work with that kind of scenery!
