A buddy asked for pictures so I figured I would post them here as well.

First pic is mostly ash with some maple and a few other random species mixed in. This is our original pile that we’ve been burning and stacking and refilling the last couple years. [IMG]

Next is the stacks in the backyard that are new this year. Made up of all red oak, black locust and Osage orange. About half of the locust has come from the woods behind the house where it’s been blown over and dead since we bought the place 6 years ago. [IMG]

This pile of locust and osage orange finished off the last of the second stack for the backyard and now they’re both ready to be covered. [IMG]

Trying out billboard vinyls as tarps this year. Got two of them put on the pile by the driveway yesterday with grommets and bungee cords. We’ll see how they work out. Already noticed some tearing where I installed grommets for the bungee cords.

Nice work on the stacks. I get my covers at work from the 20’ pallets of plastic trim boards we bring in.

If you want to try them check out your local lumber yard. We give them away to anyone that asks.

Thanks for that advice! I’ll have to stop and ask.

Nice stacks! You will no doubt love those billboard covers. I've never used any but would for sure if I had them.

Thanks! Right around 10 cords. We average 2.5-3 per year.
