Finished splitting & loading a trailer of Ash today. It's sold & paid for so I figured I'd better get it done. 20190428_165544.jpg 20190428_165604.jpg 20190428_165620.jpg 20190428_165753.jpg

6X12X3' Approx. 216 cubic feet, so 1 & 3/4 or so. Guy bought & paid for two plus delivery so I owe him a bit yet. Nice clean & dry wood too. Told him I don't sell firewood, but he's a good customer at my shop & started peeling off hundreds so whattya do.

Plenty of wood on hand for sure, just time that I'm lacking. I gotta make about 15 cord for myself too. At $ 200.00 per cord I couldn't say no & he'll get extra for sure.

I have been very tempted to get into the bundle business with all the summer camps around, but have so far managed to resist. Maybe if I get through next season and have 5yrs css.

Admirable trailer load there, amateur cutter. Going to have to change your name to "professional cutter" if this keeps up. ;)

Actually, I intend to phase out of the full service auto repair & into firewood sales over the next 10-12 years. Firewood will be my "retirement" job. I'm not a fan of sitting still. Rocking chairs kill.

Being able to service your own equipment should be a big expense saver. Hope it works out great for you! Look forward to ogling the toys, er, tools once you start up. :)

Of course we wish you the best of luck on this goal. If possible, I might be able to help some.
