Some unexpected red maple

    Working on the rental house today and I've been meaning to pull out a limb that broke on a large red maple in the back. I thought i would just pull it out with the truck and ditch it...nope, decent wood in there! It's always hard for me to gauge how large a limb is when it's stuck in the tree.

    So a quick scrounge and now back to working on the house.

    That is a lot of limbs on that thing! Usually don't see a lot of those with limbs that low. Will make it tougher to split when you cut that tree but the wood will still be good.
