Snow this weekend won't stick around long so no worries there.

Nice day again today but weather is supposed to turn sour tonight through Sunday.

I think we need an IRA. Seems a Traditional one in particular will help. I can do it online with TDAmeritrade and likely American Funds or Vanguard too, but that comes out of our bank account opposed to pre-tax from paychecks in our checking account. Is there a difference on Traditional IRA's whether it comes pre-tax on payroll vs out of our checking account that is already taxed, or does it all end up on Line 32 on tax form 1040?

If I'm on track $5K/year will ensure a $12K savings on health.

To be honest I haven’t kept up with the rules for 10 years, and they have changed a ton. Call an advisor and have them come out and give their spiel. It will be free with their hopes of you signing up so they can get commission later.

If you cut a live one plant a new one. I try not to cut live trees though.

We went for a drive last evening and I had to wait (extra long) at a stop sign for a motorcycle that was coming down the highway. After I pulled out behind the guy, I knew that something wasn't right with him.

Not only swerving within the lane, but there were dramatic and sudden speed changes. You know, 10-15 miles over then 10 slower than the posted sort of thing.

OK, I think I know just what is going on now. ;) It is a quiet secondary road and he'll be turning soon. Older guy.

But then...… I noticed just why I suspected something else. He could not keep the bike balanced. At all. Now, that explains the speed changes and swerving. Whenever he tried to hold a straight line. you would see him tip over to the left or right and the correct it.

Kept giving him the benefit of the doubt.... you know- bumpy road (but it wasn't) maybe he saw a deer (there was one-but I don't think he saw it due to no reaction) maybe he's just a bit cold. But it kept going back to the original suspicion.

I had a state cop pass me just before I turned onto this road and am thinking just how lucky this guy could be.

Worst suspicions were confirmed when he pulled into a bar... :picard:

Feeling good today even though the sun is not shinning. Forecast does not look good for the next 2 or 3 days.

Need to bring wood in. Haven't had a fire in a while. With the nasty weather coming in I will have it cranking starting tonight.

It is 60 here and a bit windy. Been having light rain on and off. Not a pleasant day out there.

Nope. I think the last time I stopped at a bar was in the 90's.

Good way to waste money and time.
