I just picked up a pair of wellington side zips. Safety toe, non-conductive, water proof (yeah, right), good tread pattern. I've been doing the "School of funny walks" Monty Python thing for the last few hours, testing their flex and support. So far so good.
I've never owned this brand before. How do they hold up?

Ha! You can search my post history and never see a pic/vid I've ever posted myself. Always have to ask someone else to post for me.
I live in a canyon. I can't even download pictures on my phone. Sometimes, I have to drive out of the canyon just to send a text. The joys of living in the mountains. :smoke:

Maybe someday. It's not like I don't want to post pictures, but too many pics. of mountains, avalanches, Elk, Bighorn sheep... that'd get tiresome after a while. You'd be bored. ;)

    Now about these boots......?

My oldest brother loves these thorogood boots. He bought them a number of years ago while visiting Mom up in Northern Wisconsin. He raves about them, and bought another pair of them last summer from the factory, which is in northern Wisconsin. He uses them while hiking around the Pacific Northwest.

I'll have to stop and pick myself up a pair of these boots from the factory too.

I love Thorogood boots. Have had several pairs. Back when I was a machinist they lasted beyond what I ever dreamed boots could handle walking on sharp filings and chips. I haven't had any of their "outdoors" work boots but if they are like their machinist grade boots you will love them.

Good to know. I've been wearing them for the past 16 hrs straight and I like them so far. Still a little stiff but should break in well. Nicest thing is my feet don't feel nearly as sweaty as they do in lace-ups.
