Good morning.. Headed out to the shop to work. Have some people coming over to talk about another job. That's always great. I got 6 hours of sleep last night so I should feel pretty good today. :) Enjoy your day everyone.

We got a ton of rain last night. Lighting and thunder too. It's a HUGE relief that our new roof doesn't leak like the old one, and the new gutters work as they are supposed to. The leafguard will make a lot less work for me so I don't need to clean crap out of the gutters constantly like I used to.

The contractor did an awesome job with the flashing for the chimney for the stove.

    Also awesome was this.. Screenshot_2019-04-23-09-45-11~2.png

So just how much do you think one of them bucks will charge for a masonry chimney on a two story house? I never liked going up on the roof to clean the chimney anyway...

Coming back to posts here about losing sleep. Happened across this and it caught my attention, I have acid reflux since Scleroderma hardened my esophagus, along with/or WWW snoring at night, this product and others say it can help both sleep stealers. IIRC WWW used salvaged ISO in that exact shape to insulate some of the walls here. He's going to see if there are any left. We tried books under the head posts, then 2 X 4 's, dog hair magnets I cannot reach and not quite stable enough. Will be cool if there is some left and it actually helps:)

Too bad they don't sell a special tinfoil hat to quiet my thoughts at night  , I have tinfoil here to use!

About a month ago I got checks for the first time in 5 years. No troubles, thank goodness. Glad your bank took care of you!

I went to order new checks through our bank via banking online, they wanted $30 for a few sets of duplicate checks. Alright, then I get to checkout and see the shipping. $15 for USPS shipping or $25 for certified receipt USPS shipping. Got a sheet of 5 temps for meanwhile. I meant to post this here but got busy.

That said we recently received 5 boxes of business checks in a FedEx delivery for a shop in Colorado, in the same shipment was a package of signed live paychecks for a Propane company up here. WWW dropped the paychecks off and FedEx picked up the mis-delivered business checks.

We don't watch sports here either yooperdave.

They're very tall. They don't even need a ladder.

I never write checks anymore. This morning I finally gave in and paid the kids pediatricians office. Sometime in the past 6 months they closed their online payment portal, so I needed to send a check. So I made an wait. Finally took the time to set em up in the online check writing portion of my account

The only checks I write is for those places that charge extra for the convenience of paying electronically; Howse taxes, vehicle registration, sewer and water. There is also at least one place that only takes cash or check for payment.

Morning all. For our walks in the morning, we don't need to take flashlights anymore. By the time we get to where there is no streetlights, it is light enough to see where you are going. Still a a bit chilly in the mornings though. Last day of work for me this week as I have the next couple of days off for appts. etc. Busy weekend coming up with our school 50th reunion.
