Might try these later, after we hide the eggs for another inside hunt. No olives for eyes but we'll figure something out.

Burning branches , no I'm not smoking any neighbors out on Easter ;) , gave the pups their Easter baskets, got the dog pool out and filled it with water, hanging out on the patio, did some odds and ends like restretched the new seat cover on the Kawasaki bayou, cut a piece of sheet aluminum to patch the cracked fender on it, but now I can't find the pop rivets. Grrr.

They are cute. You could use chocolate chips, raisins or nuts.

Ended up attending services last night and was very interesting. I can't remember the last time or even if I attended Easter Vigil services.

Headed out on the road by 8:30. The prime rib buffet was great except for the prime rib......Yeah. Neither of us enjoyed the prime rib.

We had a very good waitress and the remainder of entrees were great, I actually ate more vegetables today than all of the previous week!

99 came out ahead $$ wise and we had a nice long drive...too long. Not much ice on the water ways down there at all!

Insomnia is back and doing well! Been awake for 2 1/2 hours so far. Dang!

Probably start hauling supplies/food stuffs down to the cottage this week. As long as the temps don't drop below freezing for too long, there'll be no chance of damage to freezable foods...….

Good morning guys and gals. Stretching and groaning going on now. Trying to get motivated. Not enough sleep last night. But I have the day off today. So I’ll get some work done outside. Then, at lunch break, I’ll see if I can catch a 1/2 hour nap to try to get some of that missed sleep. (While the family is still in school.) Hoping to get the chainsaw out today and start cutting some firewood up and some brush down in an area I want cleaned up.

You hoarders have a good day, stay safe, and do something fun.

Ha! That was a short lived retirement, no? At least you had a taste of it....well, not really.

    Good luck to you!

Looks like it will be a great day here. Forecast 78 for this afternoon! That is June or July weather!

The mosquito patrol hires airplanes every spring and they've been buzzing this morning. Sadly, they don't drop anything here but do the other township just 5 miles from us. Still, we do get spray and fogged as soon as the skeeters hatch which is usually around May 20.

Plan on mowing some old dead grass and weeds to get the camping area ready for the GTG which is now less than 2 weeks away.

Day off today for me. Catching up on my bookkeeping. It is raining outside so no outside work. Grandkids and their parents were up to visit Mom this weekend so we got to see them as well. Weather was pretty nice for Friday, Sat. and Sunday. Our other daughter and her husband went kayaking and I think the area they were in had rain for most of the weekend.

I'm sorry Dave, similar here for a few weeks now, walking around like a zombie. I did get a few solid hours last night thankfully.

77 degrees here. A bit breezy but mostly sunny. A fantastic day for April. I've been a bit busy and now am bushed. But, I got the tiller on and ready to work up some ground. Just need a bit more ambition so am taking a break.
