It's beginning to green up nicely here. Won't be long before leaf time! With the warm weather predicted, it might happen very soon, but only 40's today and wind.

2 weeks from now we'll be well into our annual GTG (actually the first one will show up on Wednesday evening). Main GTG times are Friday and Saturday then most will leave Sunday morning.

They did. Boston was on fire with their 3 points, and a 41 point first quarter.

Had center court 11 rows back. The place was sold out. Watched a bit of the OK game. There were a little t of empty seats.

Load of laundry...hung outside today! Then, off to the cottage to put the hitch on the front of the utv. Took about 1/2 hour-a lot better that the front and rear windshields and roof install just a few days ago...…. :picard:

A short ride in the woods with the utv and a load of cutoffs for the wood stove. Just had to pick them up, no cutting involved.

May even head out to church this evening in prep for our "drive" tomorrow. It'll be a longer service, but whos counting?

No. Bears on the back deck are not welcome. I did take in the bird feeders to reduce any enticement though.

Moved wood again today after the rain moved on. Shed full working on refilling axillary area up drive. Also working on a corona and a freezer burnt steak listening to the Tribe. Life is good!

Spent 4 hours from 11 to 3 with our daughter and baby grand daughter (17 days old). Our daughter got in a nap and did some house cleaning while we held her. Our son-in-law went back to work today for the first time since since baby was born. We all got in a nice spring time walk around the neighborhood and down by the lake a block away. High of 76f today. It felt hot in jeans. A glorious spring day. Grass is really greening up and tree buds are swelling.

Happy Easter all. Not that I don't care what Easter means but need to work today. Wife will be going to her sons for lunch a short distance away. Hope you enjoy the day with your family.

Working on the barn a bit more. Use to have a door out to the pasture, but was sided over years ago (shoddy work and in poor shape). So I ripped that section out and My dad built me a barn door. We hung it up last week.

Went and picked up a 10x2.5 maple syrup evaporator yesterday for my buddy. Needs some work, but should be a productive unit when fixed up.

Hoping everyone has a great Easter Day. And for a change, no rain here on Easter Sunday.

If it rains on Easter Sunday it usually rains for the next 6 Sundays. Usually the wind is the same. That is, the next 6 weeks the wind will be predominately from that direction.

I thought Gramma said the next 7 Sunday’s. She probably said 7 total. But I will say it has held rather true in my life.
