Did you put the AC's in yet?:dennis: I remember years back it hit 90+ on my B-day. A few days later i was working in a sweatshirt and it was flurrying. Dunno bout you, but i hate making firewood when its that hot? Stay cool (sounds weird after saying stay warm all Winter) and hoard on as well!

I have not yet kicked on the AC-open windows and heavy duty ceiling fans...the humidity thankfully has not yet arrived...

63ºF outside here today. Was outside early. No sun and windy so a little chill. Went out and came back at 10:00 or so and there was a fire in the stove with huddled shivering masses. I just shook my head and went and got some more pine.

So many people around here rave about how much they love the summer and hot temps. Mostly the type that always have to be partying or hanging out on the lakes all summer. Basically people who don't ever work out in it and only experience the summer heat through recreation. I am not one of them. I got over the lake life fast when I was working on boats and delivering jet skis throughout the summer when I was in school. Mostly a bunch of loud mouth drunk yuppies from Nashville and that area who come out here to leave their trash all over the lakes and rivers. But now I'm getting off topic ...

Give me a dry winter day in the 20's where I can cut some wood over a humid summer day in the 90's cutting grass anytime.

90 is always too hot. I hope we do not see any 90 degree days this summer. Occasionally that does happen here but last summer was one of the worst ever. About wore our air conditioner out. I think the year before we ran it maybe 6 times all summer. That's more like it.
