Just kidding. You would have to know me. My buddies and I used to razz each other non stop. We had our own unofficial motorcycle club at work with all makes. Best one ever.....I rode into work on my sparkling new Valkyrie Tourer. My jackazz welder buddy went out that afternoon and poured about a cup of used oil under the crankcase. Of course when I came out I figure the engine is busted. They are still laughing about this...
Same thing happened to me. Guys couldn't understand why I wanted a Harley so much. FINALLY, after working a second job (agreed not to use any current $$ for the purchase), drove it into work and parked in the "pole position". One of the guys, a Goldwing owner, grabbed a piece of cardboard.... soaked some oil stains on it...… placed it underneath the engine..... took a pic. I found the cardboard at lunch while everyone was waiting around and laughing! Some time later they presented the pic to me! Crap! That was 26 years ago! Where has time gone?
We had a guy who drove one of those "crotch rocket organ donor" imports. He came out one day to discover a handful of soy sauce soaked rice sittin' under his !!!!!!!
This would have been a perfect joke for our buddy! The first year we rode to Sturgis, only one guy had a non-Harley.....Kawasaki Ninja. Thing must've did about 2,000 mph at idle. Lots of ribbing and chiding on that trip!
That's what Harley needs for their ridership. Harley Davidson is in Trouble -- Buyers are Getting Too Old to Ride The extra components on the 4 wheeled one won't do anything to make them cost less. At what point it's a motorcycle, not a motorcycle though? A polaris slingshot is a reverse trike, like a can am Spyder. The Spyder though has handle bars and you sit on it like a motorcycle. The slingshot has a steering wheel and you sit side by side. Some states don't consider the slingshot a motorcycle, due to the lack of handle bars. Other states say it's a bike of it has 2 or 3 wheels. I say neither are a bike because they don't lean into a curve. Both the Spyders and slingshot seem to sell well. Then there's this... Yamaha Niken. Dual forks with dual wheels in front. It leans. It's definitely a motorcycle.
Something a little more recent...they hired a new kid at work and he was pretty sharp, but very inexperienced on "mechanic-ing" So his dad got a good deal on a new Harley dresser and offered the boy his old bike at a "no-brainer" price (looked a lot like the OP pic...only in OEM bike form) So he wanted to change the oils in it and asked me if I'd help him if he got in a bind...I told him to youtube it (like any good lil millennial should) and he'd be fine as it should be a pretty easy job (but I'd never wrenched on no Hardleys before)...he got it done and was pretty proud of himself...so whenever he rode it to work I started squirting oil up under the spin on oil filter...just enough so that it ran down the engine and left a couple drips on the ground. He never did notice it...he ended up leaving to another job since then and I can't recall now if I ever fessed up to the failed prank or not! CRS sucks
Probably something where you wouldn't have to swing your leg over the saddle would be better for you...…! Like a side by side.
