Please keep Stinny in your prayers this morning as he goes through surgery.

First I want to apologize to all as some may be getting tired of it or wonder about it but in the last 2 months my back has gone really far south on me. Yes, it goes really bad from time to time and I don't remember the last time I went a day without back pain. I do go for epidural shots from time to time and the last time was last August.

I actually was getting along quite well even when I took a long trip to Mississippi last January. Even after getting back home I did more woods work until it turned bitter cold. Still stayed as active as possible but during February things began getting bad. Then worse. In the past 2 weeks I've really tried and have done a few things but very few. Seems I can work for only a few minutes. Like a couple days ago my wife opened a window and then could not get it shut. I fixed it, but it also fixed me. That was the end of my work that day. A couple days ago I moved a few bushes for my wife. Thank God for the backhoe. But by the time I was done I could barely make it to the house.

So, Wednesday morning I am scheduled for a rhizotomy and that will be followed by two appointments for epidurals. In between the 2 epidurals is our GTG. I pray to God that I can be okay to be involved. This year looks to be the most fantastic GTG so far and we are expecting 60+ people to attend. Lord, I don't want to be laid up for this. We have lots of friends coming and I don't want them to see me laid up.

    Prayers will be appreciated.

Praying for your relief, Dennis. We will be glad to see you, whatever shape you are in. Please don't try to do too much in preparation, many hands make light work.

Molly, I don't know what happened by yesterday afternoon I was working in the barn. Didn't do much then had to go back inside for a break. After about 1 1/2 hours I went back out and did maybe 15 minutes and decided to quit for the day. Walked out to get the mail then back indoors. While taking my shoes off, suddenly my back started feeling better. It still does feel better today. Not great yet but much, much better. Let us hope tomorrow's procedure really fixes me up!

    Thank you.

Procedure this morning has helped a lot. Still more to do. I'll have one epidural next week then another the week after the GTG. Hope to be in great shape then but for sure this morning has helped a lot. Yes, part of it could still be from the numbing but I've had good results from the rhizotomy in the past. We'll know for sure by tomorrow. Then hopefully the other shots make it so I can do the summer work.

Thank you everyone. Let's concentrate on Stinny. I haven't had contact with him nor have I looked on the forum for any yet as I just got on. But I'll for sure continue prayer for him.

He's not home yet, sending prayers they get things in order so he can get sprung from the hospital soon. Heal up in the comfort of his own home in his own bed, and some Giz therapy.

It is better in some places for sure. Hopefully the epidurals will finish the job. At least I can bend again without sending me in orbit.
