I don't know about how hard you resisted but you have me drooling with the description of the meal. I got baked potatoes with dinner tonight which are my favourites. Brownies sounded awesome.

I used the crapsman tractor to clean up the yard by picking up downed branches and I moved the couple of days of ash I scored by the roadside the other week. The Kohler magnum 18 in it runs pretty good, even with the throttle cable that won't allow full throttle.

There's gas in the crapsman. I'll burn it before siphoning it out. I've even got the Kawasaki Bayou here.

I also put 10 gallons of e85 in the truck to see how it performs compared to e10. I expect a little worse mpg, but still more favorable cost per mile. Plus the engines make more power on e85 than regular gas.

I filled the bird feeder as well.

I also cut the pile of too long splits that I had in the patio. That will be good for a few days of fires.

    Resisted? Yeah, right!

She suggested baked potatoes and they sounded good. I used real butter and sour cream for "frosting" on the potatoes and topped with shredded Colby jack (thanks Wisconsin).

Next meal from the grill will probably be brats, dogs and burgers.

Thank you 99 lbs for not being a vegetarian!!!

After the earlier mention of a certain drink, I’d say cold would be the antithesis of reality....:hair:

Just got done doing plumbing...for today. All of it was over head height. Feel like I spent the day wrestling a gorilla...then spent the evening wrestling a....whatever is stronger than a gorilla. Those 60 year old galvanized fittings do NOT want to come apart easily.

The guy who plumbed all this was a complete fool....par for the course in this house.

Get to do it all over again tomorrow.

Went to look at new Kubota tractors the dealer is going to look at my old one and take in on trade. I am not sure I can afford this but the used market is ridiculous!
Dealer was trying to talk me into the L2501, I am leaning towards more HP and the L3310 or if I can swing it the L3901.
Received a text from a friend they just took in a New Holland 35HP tractor, need to call for price.
Don't know much about New Holland any input?

Our local dealer steered us away from New Holland and toward Massey Ferguson when shopping for a 75HP tractor last year...not sure if that means anything or not...maybe MF had a better sales incentive that month? YMMV

I spent the whole day cycling with a friend down in Melbourne and along the Yarra River today.

I've only heard good things about New Holland tractors. My personal experience with them is good, but not anything from this decade. My ariens GT17 is an orange New Holland. Aside from an engine going after 34 years, it's been STRONG! Maybe the best tractor snowblower ever made.

Never had either but the Massey and New Holland tractors my friends have had were pretty bad. I am going back several years now. They loved them at first but financially they were wore down by the time they parted ways. From a personal perspective the Diesel engines sounded like you put a 20 lb box of half inch lag screws in a dryer. The new ones may be much better. In this global economy you best have your “belt buckle in the right notch” if you wanna play with the big boys.

Well, the company is " Case/ New Holland".

You know, kubotas break too.;) they are not unbreakable. They are very good though.
