That looks familiar, been to Labrador a few times caribou hunting when it was open. About 30 west of Churchill Falls on 500. It amazed me on the drive there from Maine at how much forest land had burned, all the trees were standing black and branchless.
Yeah no hardwoods up in these parts. Beautiful land up in Labrador. I’ve never been yet but will someday. Cheaper to fly to Florida than a short trip up there!
Looks like a great haul and a nice homemade trailer. How long were the logs. Looks like the trailer would have a good bit of weight on it.

$16 a gallon for gas last time we were there. Long way from anywhere and everything is in demand. The town is owned by the power company that owns the dam so they get to set the prices on everything. A trip to Walmart is a weekend trip and most people spend a couple thousand dollars there once maybe twice a year. Different way of life for most people these days.
Yes I have a good buddy living/working in the town. His truck is loaded up like the Clampett’s when he leaves the island to go back!
