Most towns in NH top out at $500 for Veterans discount on property taxes. And only on your primary residence. Still with no sales or income tax, its a great state to live in!
I can't get a dime off any of my taxes until I move/make NH my permanent residence, I called the tax office in Winchester.
Well, it's only been 17 months and my VA appointments are "Finally" finishing up. My last appointment is on the 24th in Philadelphia VA hospital. Then, I guess they'll determine my claim status after. It's really sad this takes so dam long!!! I even wrote to my politicians in this state "with out any answer" at all. Then again, I don't believe certain political party gives a dam about their Vets, Only illegal aliens!
Sorry you are going through this. There are agencies for hire that work to get your highest percentage. But they lay claim to a lot of the back pay amount. we all go through that. Mine took a year after all was said and done. Last time I went in for an increase, it was done in three weeks. Mosts of those who put in claims now here in Maine get answers in a few weeks for the time the claim is all put together and submitted. Good luck with your claim. Don't forget you can appeal it within a year.
