I had an idea who brought this but wasn't sure. I never saw this running gear around the guys place. I guess there were some trees that had fallen into the power line going to a pump-jack. The guy tending the well or someone he hired to remove them drug them out along the field. My neighbor loaded them onto this running gear and brought them over when we were gone. He says there is at least one more load where this one came from. This is another he gave me last week out of a small grove of trees in the way of opening/squaring up a field he just purchased. There are at least two more this size over there. The only downside, I have to load them. You have to love when a load of wood just shows up.
What? Not only do you have to load them yourself, but then you're not quite sure as to just when they will show up? Better put up some "private property" signs! Nice neighbor!
I know...the nerve. I have to say, I like cutting the log length poles while they're on that running gear. It's faster than using forks and you're not constantly on and off the tractor. After supper we'll see if I'm able to lift the running gear over what was cut to go grab another load. If that works, for loads close to home, I'll try to borrow that setup.
No kidding! Luckily I have a couple load range E 16" and a Harbor freight tire changer should that happen.
did you sacrifice a virgin to the wood gods Casper to get that load to show up? Nice looking load even if you didnt! If you dont want the next load ill give them directions to my place!
About 8-10" of a 28" Tusurma sticking out of the largest log. Didn't get a second load tonight since we had a minor diversion. A kid who hunts my place had his game cams stolen on the property behind mine. We went out and found track, but nothing definitive on who did it.
