I'm putting new windows in a house on my new property that was built in 1954. I saved all of the old ones. I know people do craft stuff with old windows but I'm not really sure what they're worth. Anyone into old windows that could give me an idea of what to ask for them if I decide to sell them?

No pictures right now but I can get some tomorrow.

    Thanks

I donate the ones I replace to the lady in town with the craft shop to keep them out of the landfill. Just gave her 26 sashes with the old wavy glass.
Its not always about making a few bucks.

$25 each at most. Could be used for a deer blind build if you are a hunter....just another thought.

Do you guys have an Architectural Warehouse type store down there, it's a spot up here that people go to find old windows doors to keep the house and the original era. Especially when doing additions.

As ironpony suggests, I'm grateful to find any source just to get rid of them.

I have a friend that pays $50-$80 per window or door to make these as gifts for her friends and family. That said the orig windows from the 1952 part of the house are still behind the pole barn. They will be tossed someday, nowhere to donate/sell them like where she lives. Most of hers were from an antiques fleamarket.

Thanks guys. No idea if there's anything like an architectural warehouse...but I wish, I'd love to look around a place like that.

I threw mine in the dumpster.... but they were 1980s cheapos. Should have put them for free on CL and saved room in the dumpster.

we have Columbus Architectural Salvage here, I have bought interior doors from them before. I have also donated odd lock sets and hinges to them.

Old Wooden windows aren’t easy to find in good shape. So I think there is definitely a market for them, but I doubt they are worth much. I ended up redoing some of the windows in my barn and couldn’t find any replacement pieces online. Ended up leaving them as-is or doing some homemade repairs.
