Because of my hands, I can't knead bread properly any more so I bought a breadmaker. I use it to knead and rise the dough until it is ready to be baked. Then I take it out, form it into buns, bread, pizzas or whatever and then cook it in the oven. Gets away from the hole in the middle and doesn't make too big of a batch at one time.

I was thinking similar WW, kneading. If she does not already have one, a Kitchenaid or similar mixer, she can mix and rise and whatever with the 3 paddles, and add a meat grinder, sausage packer for Backwoods Savage's game he hunts

I really miss the past and where we lived. SO many happy memories there, really nice weather, and nice views 360*. Driveway pic and view from the back over the city.

I bought one of those breadmakers for 99 years ago. Used it a couple of times and then put it "away". Then it was moved "away" into the basement for long term storage. After a few more years, it was put "away" into a rummage sale pile. I grabbed it and hauled it to the cottage where it was resurrected for awhile....then she put it "away" down there......in the storage shed.....and then back into a rummage sale pile once more! :headbang:

Takes me awhile to catch on sometimes!

    "Subdivision man"

"Not long ago I made a delivery, number 274,
And it's a damm good thing these houses have their number on the door.
Cause otherwise they look the same, all spaced apart 8 feet,
A 2 car asphalt driveway, 30 feet from the street.
Scattered trinket in the windows, different flower in the yard,
But you have to drive distracted to tell most of them apart.
Every second one is white, first one yellow, third one green,
And the sign at the intersection touts them all as someone's dream.
Well my worst nightmare is whole neighborhoods ,
Designed by one muscle memory hand...
    I ain't no subdivision man.

Don't mind if I veer off the street,
Straight lines make me fall asleep.
What good is a navigation map, when all I see is squares.
Greedily subdivided, filed at town hall tier by tier.
Quarter million, half million or even more apiece,
Promises on the salesman's lips, and fine print in the sheets.
A mortgage for a lifetime and warranty for 7 years,
After that that they'll start to break, and it's your problem, not theirs.
And add a city permit to the cost of the repair,
And it must he done by someone who's made it a career.
And taxes on "your own" land, what a f***in scam....
    I ain't no subdivision man.

Wal mart a minutes drive or 3,
That ain't no selling point for me.
    I don't like those monstrosities,
Wouldn't go to Costco if the stuff was free.
Give me local mom and pop,
With the owner working in the shop.
If I must go to a department store,
I don't mind driving an hour or more,
Never did care much for arcade games,
Or too many people to keep track of their names.
I'll be out of there fast as I can....
    I ain't no subdivision man.

I wish that Honda civic would use a signal light this time,
soon enough these traffic lights will have me color blind.
They run the reds, wait at the greens,
    Smash into each others machines,
20 over, 20 under, but can't do the speed limit,
This place is bad enough without me in it,
I don't fit in anyway cause I use a garbage can....
    I ain't no subdivision man.

The white collar don't fit, I'll stay away from downtown core,
I like revolving guns but not revolving doors.
Not a tree in sight within the 7 mile view from the top,
I'm starting to understand why people go up here and jump off.
half hour just to find a spot to try to parallel park.
Gotta keep the meter happy, 13 bucks by dark.
15 cuts to get between the lines, it's more than I can stand.
I drive a big red truck, not a Chrysler minivan...
    I ain't no subdivision man.

Gotta drive just to go for a walk,
Now don't that sound like crazy talk?
    Manicured and boardwalk trails,
Home Depot grass and exposed nails,
Nice ducks you're not allowed to feed,
You can see the fences through the trees,
    Underdeveloped brains make overdeveloped land....
    I ain't no subdivision man.

I see a young professional, no doubt that he means well.
But there's so many things I'd like to see him try to do himself.
He's got a leased out Mazda car, he barely can refuel.
Forget him changing his flat tire, he doesn't own a tool.
I feel sorry for him, when his siding blows away.
But city council wouldn't let him fix it anyway.
He's got one certified degree, and that's all he's good for.
Sits all day behind his desk up on floor 34.
Sitting stationary, he's more patient than I am...
    I ain't no subdivision man.

They say they'll put your taxes to work,
But they have no such plans.
They'd rather line each their pockets with an extra 100 grand.
Tout the place as clean and beautiful, well go clean up the trash.
Nope, they must not care that much, they just want cold hard cash.
Plow the roads after everyone's out, might as well just park the truck.
If you're not making things easier you might as well save a buck.
Wait until you have no choice, and when the job is finally done,
    There's 30 people on a job for 2, it's overkill or none.
"Vote for me, I'll change the world",
You think they give a damm?
They say they'll fix the potholes,
But it's all a ****ing sham....
    I ain't no subdivision man.

You take these folks where there's lots of trees,
They'll say there's nothing to do.
But I keep busy from 6 AM till the sky turns black from blue.
Guess I never understood the appeal of all those video games,
Sure if I turn on the TV twice in the same week it's something strange.
Half what's in the freezer I went out myself and caught,
This old house looks so unique cause it was built not bought.
I got a pile of books to read, but can't spare them much time,
I can do without the fancy stuff, I don't want to owe a dime.
I don't throw out my leftovers, I feed them to the crows,
And I don't vacation at the beach, it's only across the road.
I don't really go camping, it's much the same as home,
Critters and trees and the birds and the bees, they won't let me be alone.
You want to isolate me, drop me in NYC,
3 seconds later I wouldn't doubt it'd be the end of me.
Half those city people don't know who's 3 doors down,
But I can show you who lives where for miles and miles around.
Can you imagine if I held up the store, they'd see through my disguise,
They'd tell the cops my name and probably where I'll be at 5.
Can't get away with quite so much where strangers a foreign word,
But for most of us that's honest we're all free as a bird.
    Traffic lights be ****ed,
    And skyscrapers be dammed.
    I ain't no subdivision man. "

Well they fracked the well. It was a gamble of getting more water or losing it. Gamble paid off, Water has been more reliable. :)

I bought her one once but she didn't like it. Might have to try one again.
