...when I joined last week that beer pics were mandatory. So to keep from being an outcast, here ya go. My current favorite, brewed 40 miles South of me!
We don't get that kind of Sierra here. Though we're starting to get different ones besides the Pale Ale. I've really enjoyed Hazy Little Thing and Sierraveza.
Honestly, I can not remember the last time I've had a beer! Every summer comes and I make the statement that I'm going to have a beer this year......every fall comes and I make the statement I didn't even have a beer this year! No biggie. Who knows, I may not even like it any longer! Drank more than my share in earlier years.....
Many of us did. I drink very little now but every now and then it gets to tasting good. Mostly after working in the hot summer and sweating out all sorts of moisture. Beer is good then and good for you.
Nice! 40 miles south, eh? You've got to be from around Jonesville or Red Bluff or so. My wife used to live around there, and some of her family is from the Chico area. Welcome to FHC!
The beer industry would die if it depended on me. If my oldest son comes for a weekend to help his dear old dad with some firewood, I will buy one 6-pack of beer. After working on Saturday we would have a beer, he might have 2. The rest of the 6-pack would go home with him. For me, a half bottle of beer tastes good on a hot day after working outside.
Hopefully the wildfires didn't affect your family. I rock my "Butte Strong" hoodie all the time in support of y'all.
Thanks Horkin. Luckily, we were 30 miles South of the Carr Fire (Redding area) and 50+ miles North West of the Camp Fire (Paradise) Many were not so lucky.
Had to butt in there, huh? Butte County for those that are wondering. Butte College, aka "Butt Tech" to the locals.
Cracked one of these open at 10 AM the other day and the wife said “what do you think your doing?!” And I said “what can’t you read?!” Then it started!
