    I know! Crazy story, for 25 years on his birthday he would take the day off and go fishing in Wyoming and drive HERE. Weather is icky today, hopefully he get a break with some sun this afternoon.

    Back home...

    House looks a lot different, no siding but all the windows are done, the roof is done and, there's 1" foam insulation all the way around the house with tyvek underneath that.

    Yes. The pups were super easy to do this nearly 3000 mile round trip.

    I'll be just fine waiting. The roof is now properly vented with ridge vents, and the remaining windows that we didn't replace a couple years ago are now all new too, including the bow window replaced by a bay window. That old bow window was a major energy hog. It was also very expensive to replace, but all in all, this house will be much more energy efficient for next winter, and even for this summer when the AC is on.
