Right where I want to be.
Still a bit early in the day, but I'm not sure we'll hit our projected high of 31. It's sunny out though, so that feels nice, despite the breeziness.
I have to keep reminding myself that winter for us isn't done until at least mid-May.
I've had a mix of small-ish Oak and Ash in the stove since this morning, and just reloaded.
About 70 in here, but soon it'll be a couple degrees warmer.

Another nice 54 degree, bluebird day to go work for the man. Was a sad day after work, the snow machines were put away. The evening fire keeping the house warm all day, is working.

34° this morning, and chillier than usual in the house. My husband put the cat door back in the window, so yeah, I'll be burning wood for awhile. That's OK, got to make room for the new stuff!
Burning red maple and red oak, as usual.

32 and 78. The sun is out but the wind chill is 21. Spring is trying but it’s struggling. The rain and fog over the last few days has knocked the snow down a lot.

Snow gone. Supposed to be in low 40's today and the sun is shinning again. Some clouds but we'll still get lots of sunshine. That usually makes everyone feel a lot better; me included. I hope to get out to stack some wood today or else get the splitter out. Need to change oil in that before using.

Started at 20 but with blue skies it is working its way up to mid 30s. Heard a robin but didn't see him. Starting to hear more birds just before daylight

Just about at the freezing mark. A bit of snow overnight made slippery roads this am. Windy, heading down to 16°F overnight. Got almost a month for this year's firewood left, should make it.

I should be ok. I'm not touching that damm thing. It's so rotted at the bottom. Besides, word on the street is you wanted to drop it.

    45ºF, but 20 MPH winds.
2 loads of pine this morning and then solar gain was enough maintain about 71ºF inside and starting another one in a few minutes.
    Probably burn some maple overnight.
Supposed to get down to 25ºF tonight.
