Agreed, Easy for me. Wife and daughters go shopping. Daughters take mental notes. ;) on her birthday or Christmas Thor scores big. Of coarse she knows I know nothing about clothes. I have uniforms for work. If we go out I have 2 nice pairs of jeans and a handful of shirts. She gives me a hard time that some of my nice shirts are older than my daughters.

Agreed! And also as Chazsbetterhalf knows, even if you DO know your wife's jean "size" it's meaningless. Some brands run REALLY big so size 8 fits a 12 body, or REALLY small, so size 14 only enough room for 6 body. Ridiculous!!!

When I was a young buck, many moons ago, I went into the department store to buy my new bride a bra for Christmas. Now in the olden days, a department store had clerks that actually wanted to help as some of you old-timers can relate to. Not like today's Walmart. The clerk asked, What size?"
Me: Holding up both hands cupped, "About this big".
Clerk: I need a sizes sir.
Me: I can't give you a size, but not to big.
Clerk: I really need a size.
Me looking around: "About your size. Let me see."
The clerk walked away. I can't figure out why

Today probably yes, but sexual harassment wasn't invented yet.

That's okay, those women's sizes mean nothing anyway. They certainly aren't consistent between brands (I can wear anything between a 4 and a 10 - maybe up to a 12). Then you have the different fits (relaxed, skinny, regular, flare, boot cut, skinny ankle etc) that don't fit the same even where you think the only change should be the width at the bottom of the jeans. Then you got the low, mid rise and standard waists that also vary between brands.

Yeah, welcome to the world of fashion even if you don't do "fashion".

To add to the confusion, What about Jr. Misses, Misses, Petite, Women's. and plus sizes, My wife was 4' 11" 95lbs when we got married. The 1st year I tried to get her an outfit. Ok she is petite I will get her a petite size. To big. What the heck? She was in the misses size. Can't remember if it was Misses or Jr Misses.

Boy, I tell you. I love my old Chevy K-30.
I haven't fired it up in 5-6 months, but this afternoon -once it had gas in the bowls- Vroom! I love that old 454. Wife wants to sell it since we sold the CJ-6, but I kinda want to keep it, for a trail truck. She's not pushing the issue so it may stay for awhile.

First week end in months I haven't worked on prints. It kinda screwed me up a bit, in a good way.
Took the dawgs for a drive to Georgetown, 25mph in a 35mph the whole way, they loved it. Picked up Sugar for the hummingbirds, then slow cruised back home. Even went to the back of the canyon so they could stick their fool heads out the windows. It was good.
Fired up "old truck" to hook to trailer, it's still full of Osage so I used it to position the trailer to the cutting/splitting area. These longer daylight times are a good thing, get some work done here after getting home from work.

Headed back home in a few hours. Like 6. Will at least day 1 of the trip back of 2 days. Going to drive 12 hrs tomorrow.

I've got the alarm set, the truck is close to fully packed, we've vacuumed and cleaned to get our pet deposit back. We're leaving the place as clean as it was when we got here. The check out directions are simple, but we are still doing more than we need to. Plus I aired up the rental house's beach bike tires and lubed their chains, fixed a glass shutter, and repaired a light switch.

Being an Eagle Scout I always leave things better and nicer than how I found it.
That reminds me I need to do a final doody duty check in the am.

Mornin! First day of the new fiscal year at work, hopefully things will continue to return to baseline. Orders have been up 25% and production has been down about 50% due to a computer system changeover. Work has been hell as a result.

Morning all. Near freezing this morning with another sunny day in the offing. I think we might get some rain by the end of the week. We have had almost two months of no rain on our walks. Very unusual for this area. Where did March go? Not looking forward to April Fools at a school. Gets a little crazy on a day like this.
