    It is pretty cute. You pay a premium for being on the water. Good that it's sheltered from open ocean, great if you have a boat!

    Been a lazy day.... rain.. snow... rain.. snow.. wet snow balls.... and cool.... so I didn’t get to accomplish what I wanted to today... but I did get a nap in... now getting supper on the smoker.... then when that’s done... I’ll put on a couple of Boston Butts... for a over night cook...

    Made the 150 mile round trip to get my splitter from deer camp. I've got some splitting planned for tomorrow. About 3.5 cords worth hopefully.

    Today was hazardous waste disposal day here and I was able to get some old oil paint and other stuff disposed properly.

    More house packing today and we may be nearing the final stretch in this house sale. It is feet up and time to relax and catch up on posts.

    Quiet day here, Jon. It's been snowing all day and the roads are terrible. We were supposed to go to our favorite restaurant which is about a 30 mile drive. Decided to postpone until tomorrow night instead.

    The first of two basketball games tonight was outstanding. Close the whole game. Texas Tech defeats Gonzaga. Now Purdue is ahead of Virginia.

    Do you mind if I ask -and any others in the know - I have German ancestors back to 1700's in PA. Son born in Berks PA 1784 his father according to an article came here "In The Colonial Days". Any time range you could offer for colonial days? Said son bought land then built a stone home in 1814, being German and in SE PA would you lean towards Pennsylvania Dutch like your sign?

    Modern spelling is Myers but proven past records show Meyer/Meyers, Moyer/Moyers, and Meir is on his wedding record. Any Clues?
