Welcome to the show my friend
Just an FYI those are nice pellets , but over priced . They used to be priced the same as all the other pellets that Lowe's sells till they changed the name to Platinum , same pellet just a marketing tool to jack up the price .

You maybe a newbie here , but we watch everyone's back

Welcome aboard and I concur a very sweet looking stove . I am sure the Ct. boyz will school ya on whats available down there with excellent advice.

Right now got straight up Matra's in the P68 and the P43's toasting T&D Wood while I am home and chugging the last of the Okie Platinums when I am away as they do not funnel, soon the P43 will be toasting LaCrete and I am sure she will be happy after 2 1/2 tons of Okie Plats.

The P43 has worked its way thru the rest of the Matras and 1/2 ton of Vermont's so I'm back to less than great pellets for it. I got 5 bags of North Americans last weekend and decided to put those thru that stove. It has been warm and/or sunny this week so the stove hasn't burned thru much and I've only gone thru two bags of the NA so far.

The P61a is munching away at the last of the TSC MWP's which will only last another week or so (depending on weather) and then it will be transitioned to some old stock of another brand that is hanging out in my garage.

So far very impressed with the AWF softies , great heat, low ash and good length to the pellets. Will see how the carbon build up is this weekend when I go to clean the stove.
Would definitely load up in the spring if I can find them at a good price and of course withing driving range.

Well, I lied, ended up picking up some Green Supremes and they are currently in the P61a. They are way more ashy than the MWPs but they are keeping the basement warm.

Put the last bag of NA's in the P43's hopper. It will still be a couple of days before I have to decide what to put in there next (probably GS's since they are on top of the stack).

Welcome, stick with the VT's I had a bad batch now about 60% through the ton and they got a bit better. Ash should not be all that bad, been burning VT for about 10 of the 14 years I have had my stove. I was a blazers only guy until one year they were not available ( I dont mind the extra dough as she does not always burn more than 8-10 hours at a time) I tried Logik-e softies last year and they were excellent, but I will be pre-ordering VTs this year again.

Pick up 10 bags of Hamer's Hot Ones to keep things going. Would rather use Vermont wood pellets but the nearest place only takes cash and you have to buy at least a half ton . Sometimes I don't have the time or energy to load and unload that many bags
