Yea I think he is ok dad spoke to Rod on the phone and he was interviewed on the news. It started right next to his property so it would not have been as bad for him as it would have for others once it intensified. I will probably go over in the morning and give them a hand cleaning up.

Stink coming from the utility room. This morning I assumed it was a WWW :fart: or dog :fart: .

Oops worse last night, like a dead mouse. took the tote boxes in there, checked the cement plumbing bunker, nothing and under the cast iron tub either. Can't access the attic crawlspace there, and if something did get up there and die I'd think my bathroom and bedroom would smell too since they share the same weird attic space.

Looks pretty nice. I'm befuddled by the door handles in the middle of the doors I the kitchen though. Bathrooms could use some updating, but they are probably smart to leave them alone and let new owner update to their own taste. Not crazy about the electric heat, but have no idea about your costs around there. Can't beat having a new deck on ther.

Hmm, wonder what that price is in US $ - looks to be fairly cheap for everything you get (cheaper than my POS house I bought 5 years ago and still working on  - and spending :emptywallet::emptywallet::emptywallet:).

haha, you notice more than I do. Price would be 67K American. I don't like electric heat either, but it might be the easiest option for the location.

I myself like the old fashioned look, I'm not one for modernness is a house at all, but I would like woodwork more than wallpaper.

It was a 70s thing. I didn't put the handles on our cupboard doors when we got them. Instead the edges where we open and close the doors has the finish all wearing off.

I'm familiar, and used extensively, doors without handles. Last time I remember actually having handles on kitchen cabinet doors was back in the '70's (and they were at the edges). But, I have never seen them in the middle of the doors. Is unique, and doesn't look bad, just seems weird to me.

It was suppose to be a three day weekend off. :picard:Why do I do this? Oh ya. :makeitrain" LOL

Oh well, at least I get to work with and help my bro on a job.

Another contractor’s mini- lift gets us into tight spaces and up to high places. Nice.

Why is it when I go to "fix" something or do any kind of job, I end up breaking something in the process?

Tine to buy proper 1/2" drive big sockets.
