    Fyi it was 64 when I got home. I work close to the big lake I think you live by. Only 55 there. Now at 6 p.m. is has cooled down. Nice day in lower Packer land. Weekend not so much.I'll be back to burning in the stove.

    Snow has melted away from the south side of the house, but the rest of the area still has a layer of ice and snow. Rain/shower predicted for the next three days with temps reaching 50F. Should do a number on some of that dirty snow cover. So much frost in our short dead end road. One place on the steep part of the hill has a frost heave and separation clear across the road. Hard to go up the road at a snails pace so not to harm the tires. Tires tend to spin on all that sand still on the road from winter. Town drops a lot of sand trying to keep the road safe.

    Its melting fast and I cant help feel great about that. Feels like the winters are getting longer as I get older for some reason..:) Took a picture around the old home at lunch time yesterday from my drone. It came out ok I think.. Maybe someday firewood instead of around the home. Have a good night all.

    Well today started nice with a MTB ride in the bush with a couple of friends. As I was riding home the weather was turning nasty. After lunch I was just leaving to head in to town when I got an alert on my cell phone about a fire that had broken out in a field next to one of our friends home. It’s been a bad afternoon.
