I've thought about a box on our atv several times but then I think about getting on and off and for me that would be too difficult. So, no box. And if I put one on the front, it would block the view when snow plowing.

Here, it is beautifully sunny again. Got up to 41 yesterday and should be about the same today. Supposed to be even nicer tomorrow before a 3 day rainy stretch. We continue to be below normal temperatures with no relief in sight. Last month on the farm report they did say that April was expected to be above normal temperatures. We have not had much of that so far this year except for the first week of January.

Chickadees have been singing up a storm lately. Holding about 38 and blue skies once again.. which is what we need to dry this place out. With being on side of hill , with lots of springs and clay based, it takes a while to dry out

Sunny and warming up here too! Barn Swallows are finally coming back for the summer now, unlike the few groups that came and went a few weeks ago, haven't heard a Meadow Lark yet. Going to do some pooper scooping tomorrow if it's dry enough.

Man, were the cops out today! Usually don't see any during my 4 1/2 hours of drive, but today's a different story!

Nice dry roads and low traffic made for good travel.

Frost heave, I do not recall any in Colorado. Here my front door alignment to the jamb moves every winter then returns in the summer.... The mud here gets really bad, is this just mud or frost heave?

Picked up a piece of beef brisket on the way home, seasoned it and its been in oven (I'm cheating) for 3 1/2 hours so far. Starting to smell GOOD!

I've been waiting and watching, but there just isn't enough bare ground for them to make a living yet.

I'll have to give a listen around sunset to find out for sure.

No working on wood today, too chilly and windy. So instead, I fixed up my husband's "man corner". He had a step table next to his recliner that had a bull-nosed edge, and he kept spilling drinks when he put them down too close to the edge. This morning, he spilled a whole spinach smoothie that way. He was quite upset. So, I found and bought a new step table off Craigslist that had a nice 90° edge, threw away the old area rug which was covered with spinach, and put a new one down. I hope he likes it!
I did check up the dump, there were some big chunks of crotchety pin oak, and I left them be.

I think they (wis) instituted the requirement for them back around 2011 ish? I remember the guys I worked with complaining about it as the state didn't really dictate mush about them except what size the letters/numbers should be and attached permanently to atv. A lot of guys used a discarded piece of vinyl siding zip tied to the atv with the registration numbers on it

Interesting how the rules are so different , here you put a slow-moving triangle on it, and drive it within 50 miles of your house and you're good!!

$$$$$$$ to be made from registration fees.

In Michigan, we have stickers that you place on the atv.
