    You'll get a lot more splits at the end of the day using smaller stuff you can handle by hand.
    And if your running a fast splitter (kinetic) on small stuff vs a slow splitter (hydraulic) on big stuff then there is no comparison.
    Obviously I'm talking home owner stuff, not firewood processors.

    That’s a giant round. Not sure how u got that up there other than brute strength. I have a couple of red oak rounds that big and I’m definitely going vertical.

    Actually Google earth is from aircraft at 4o,000 feet.
    The CIA has your wood type and preferred split size zeroed in on their satellites
