That Norway Spruce in the last pic was a mega PITA!!!!
No action pics of working it down a little.

It’s been on the ground for a few months. Someone else dropped it, they were smart not to try and bust any.... we have a small amount of it in our truck.... Fire Flake said, “I’m done trying to split this crap- this stuff sucks!”

She wasn’t kidding. Nasty stuff.

 

But it's good burning!~!! I have the same issue with sweet gum!!! I love burning it but "forget" trying to split it!

 

Backwoods Savage would be proud of picture # 3 splitting Vertical! "NOW" you need a red milk crate with a cusion to make it official.

 

That was part of the discussion today- in that I forgot to pack her milk crate and cushion
Boy, did I ever here about it

 

Here she is in action Dave. Becky and Julie split a bunch of wood that day at our place. They were a huge help.

 

This all she split before calling it quits on the NS....


Barely a scant 1/3 of the 6’6” bed....

 

So now you know she doesn't like your wood, eh Eric?
