Has a basket over the hole. Every now & then , I put one in the basket

Is your area you fly over mostly wooded or open? While it's not a pleasant thought… flaming out over woods… it's always amazed me at how many PPCs have had fights with trees and the pilot walks away. Not so with most fixed-wings for sure. I haven't flown a PPC since late fall 2003. I don't miss it much, but watching the sunsets at 1000' in western Maine… is missed.

 

Looks like a nice stretch of fairway. I would enjoy having that.

For some reason the board posts doubles at times. I'm not sure how since it usually happens when I'm not even on the Internet! I've had a few that where 10-12hrs after my actual post.

I've never seen a parachute glider type, but when I was growing up a guy had a hang glider type. Not sure if he still has it or if he is still around, this was ~15 yrs ago.

 

Went and found a short and colorful example for ya.

 

Yeah... No thanks! The one the guy had was an "ultra light". Similar to that his but had hang glider type wings.
I'm not sure which is better, but I'm fine with staying on the ground!
