Does the county still clear driveways? I remember they used to...for a price.

Tomorrow am. There's that "work" thing getting in the way again.;)

I think about 19 hours from now we'll be en route.

So much to do at home, and work, but making lists and getting stuff ready/ done.

I'm sure many of us have "loved" on similar roads... And yes she, whoops, we adapted.

Chilly here. I remember when they originally was forecasting 50's for us now. Mother Nature still wins... A bit breezy out there too.

So anytime between the last week of March thru the third week of April ?
Would that be gregorian or julian Good Friday ?
I think I'll stick with sticking a thermometer in the ground.
Actually starting plugs can get you going even sooner and avoiding the hot weather that can wither pea plants. But that's a bit of work and timing as peas can grow roots quick and they usually don't like being disturbed as they break easy.

And all peas are not created equal. I'm a bit fussy as I do not like all peas. I like the Thomas Laxton the best but sometimes they are getting hard to find now. I have a couple pounds of them ready to go into the ground though as soon as I can work the ground.

Got back around 2AM this morning from a week long road trip to FL. Trying to get some work knocked out so I can get outside and do some stuff. Been sitting down all week and need to get up and do something.

Sorry to say it wasn't taken advantage of. Nope.

Just went to her yoga class without so much as a "oh, that's nice".....so I let the fire die...… :(

There'll be cold days coming yet!

The turkey have something on their minds today. About 42 of them here. There were more to the right side of the field.

I like using the wood bricks because they are almost creosote free and they burn to a fine ash. I used one of the large ones that Lowe’s sells 3 to a pack today. One on top of some kindling and it was just enough to get the chill out of the house. No bark and mess either.
