    I was toying around with the idea of refurbishing a splitter (or two) in the family that have been put out to pasture.

    Well, actually the edge of a field, but add a little fence it could be a pasture... LOL!

    I'll get a pic of the possible victims next time I'm down there.

    My splitter is working fine and I don't need a replacement.

    But, to do it for the learning is worth something, eh?

    Not that I NEED more projects...

    Anyway, I was thinking of reusing some of the parts, and replacing what was needed or just didn't suit my intended purposes.

    So, I came across this cycle time calculator while I was in the "Google Rabbit Hole."

    If it has already made the rounds, sorry. I just hadn't seen it before. I found it helpful in trying to figure the "what if's" of engine size, hydraulic pumps, etc.

    I figured that I can't be the only one that didn't know...

    It is easy to use and provides you with some outcome options on parts swaps and such.
