    Ah! The Roustabout position.
That's what I used to call the Night Plant Manager position I had for a short while.
All these things that need doing, aren't getting done and no one around to get in the way or feel they needed to be in the decision making process somehow.

Wait! Didn't Toys R Us close all of its stores? Maybe just in the States.

Glad you had a good trip.

That is amazing. Even in our sand ground, it is really soft and just one patch of ice in one corner. Still will be a few weeks before anything can be done with the dirt. Now we're pruning berries and fruit trees and hoping we don't have a wet spring.

I should be pruning raspberries but my wife is back there doing it now. I surely hope she can finish... That is one job my back and neck really hate, but it has to be done every year. I'd rather cut a tree than a raspberry cane.

I may not have gained anything by planting early and the seeds might even rot in the cold-ish ground if we get a lot of rain, but the weather forecast looks favorable.
Last year I waited for perfect conditions and got a horribly late start. This year I'm throwing caution to the wind and hoping for the best.
We still have a small patch of snow at the end of the driveway in the shade.

Changed the oil/filter on the rav4 while at the cottage. damm those cartridges they came up with on the filters. The drain plug in the housing was stuck; when I tried to remove it, the whole filter cartridge assembly came off and now I have a garage floor with a oil stain on it...and of course, I blessed Toyota as it was happening!

Lit a fire in the 30 but didn't stay long enough for the place to get above 40.

    Nothing exiting today.
Spent some time in the dentist chair today. Those dentists have to be masochists. How could a profession produce that much pain in the modern world?
Defrosted the freezer. I know exciting, but it has needed done for the last 3 months.

Hi all. Been busy working a lot. Here is my drone I was talking about. The kid in me is really looking forward flying this more. Its hard to fly in the wind, and glare from the snow. It also doesn't help that Im not that good at it yet. I had to put landing gear on it to keep it out of the mud and snow when I land and the prop guards will come off in time. Anyway, Im still burning oak and ash but temps have been getting better.
