So a member that shall remain nameless ahem Backwoods Savage ahem, said he took off his snowplow a few days ago. I thought that if a wise old sage like him felt confident enough to do that I'd mothball my plow truck for the year & get out the never seen snow/salt F250. Yesterday was sunny & 50, today, well the pictures say it all. I blame Dennis.
We're down to about 16". It snowed here for 5 minutes and then went to a light rain. I bet it's mostly gone by Monday. Ps... my plow is still on
That's okay amateur cutter. We all know we'll get even more yet but the good thing at this time of the year is that it won't last. huskihl I hope you are right that your snow is gone by next week. I see they've changed the forecasts again and not supposed to be quite so warm but nothing to be concerned about. I won't be working much in the woods for a bit because of mud but do have a few trees on the high ground I can get. But then, I'm going in for a few more rounds of back and neck work so will have to take it easy for a while anyway. Have to get into better shape for the GTG which is drawing close. Just 6 more weeks!
Reminds me that I need to pick up some stones for the fire pit. Probably will get that done soon as I need some for other things too and I noticed a neighbor picked up more stones from his field last fall. He says to take them all! Also saw another neighbor last evening. Not sure if anyone remembers Carl or not but he says he'll be here this year.
