Went out early to get the third tree from last week back to the house to split and stack. Rounds were a little heavy on this one. Should have taken the splitter out to it think I pulled a muscle lifting one into the trailer. Also got to start listening to Dennis and do the vertical sit and split.

I vote for the oak! Nice looking stacks! Will you burn it next year or is it in the 3 yr plan?
I hear you about the back. I lift some big uns and feel your pain! The heating pad has become my best friend in the evenings after a day of making firewood.

For sure, save your back. You don't want to get in the shape that I'm in, or many other guys in bad shape too. Take care of that back!

Looks like you are not hurting for good firewood!
