    It was below freezing most of the day yesterday so I was able to walk on top of our snowpack in order to start pruning my 6 apple trees. I plan to finish up our tree and shrub pruning around the deck today. Our snowpack is down 18" in the last week, and low 50s and sun next weekend so we have turned the corner!

    I have quite a bit to do today, but first some coffee and breakfast and catch up here. We have some busy weeks ahead of us. Extra daylight is helpful too to get the most out of the day. Have a good day all.

    You take care of yourself and husband! You may have to say "No" in order to stay healthy. It's easier for young-uns to recover.

    While raising my children, I wouldn't have dreamed/considered bringing them to Grandparents (or anywhere) while they were sick!

    My daughter and I went for a walk in the woods yesterday for the last time in a while. We will be in full mud season in a week. As it is, I cant walk up the side of my house anymore. Way too soft.

    We found a HUGE blow down oak on the far side of the woods, just over the property line on a abutting property. Saw a shagbark too, first one I've seen back there. Most everything else non pine is oak, ash, and maple.

    X3. . Morning all. We had some nice temps and snow melt along with mud for a few days. Spent some time out side in the sun and there is something to be said about how it makes you feel. Its back to cold again for a while but it wont be long. Hope you all have a good and safe day.

    Apple juice going in this morning. Slept in a little. I just saw a pair of Robins in one of the Ash trees in our front yard. It has to be getting close to better weather!
